On June 17, 2023, something extraordinary happened in the city of Seinäjoki, Finland. The Finnish Hobbyhorse Championship was held for the tenth time. This championship is the largest event in the world for hobby horse riding and HUMMA was of course there, with exciting new products and programs. Let's look back at this exciting hobby horse event.
A great hobby horsing party!
Organized by the Finnish Hobbyhorse Association, the Finnish Hobbyhorse Championship brought together more than 1,500 participants from Finland and abroad. This event was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of passion, creativity and the joy that hobbyhorsing brings to people's lives. Here the participants showed their skills, determination and camaraderie as they enjoyed their beloved hobby and sport. The atmosphere was super energetic, as both riders and spectators were immersed in a sea of enthusiasm and shared love of the extraordinary hobby of horse riding.
High level championship
The Finnish Hobbyhorsing Championship was not only, despite the name, for Finns, but also had a special competition class for international participants. The registration period to participate had already passed, but it was worth it to come and enjoy the great atmosphere. There were many different disciplines and classes, such as jumping, team jumping at 80 cm height, dressage, freestyle and western riding, with many participants competing. It was a chance to see the best hobby horse riders in the world in action.
